Pillar Arts reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. About Pillar Arts
Pillar Arts is a nonprofit arts organization operating under the laws of the United States. The Site is provided for informational and community engagement purposes, including sharing information about our programs, accepting donations, and enabling visitors to connect with our organization.
3. Use of the Site

The Pillar Arts name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Arts Alliance of Greater Bloomington Inc. DBA Pillar Arts. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks without prior written consent.
5. Donations
Pillar Arts accepts online donations through the Site via a third-party payment processor. By making a donation, you represent that:
- You are the authorized holder of the payment method used
- The information you provide is accurate and complete
- Your donation is made voluntarily and is not contingent on any goods or services in return (except as otherwise stated)
All donations are processed securely. Pillar Arts does not store your full payment card information. Donations are generally non-refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us promptly help@pillararts.org and we will review the matter on a case-by-case basis.
Pillar Arts is a nonprofit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Please consult a tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contribution. A donation receipt will be provided upon request or automatically for qualifying gifts.
6. Email Communications
By submitting your email address through the Site, you consent to receive communications from Pillar Arts via Kit, including newsletters, event announcements, and fundraising updates. You may opt out of these communications at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in any email or contacting us directly.
We will not use your email address for purposes other than those described in our Privacy Policy.

8. User-Submitted Content

Pillar Arts does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PILLAR ARTS, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
In no event shall Pillar Arts’ total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to your use of the Site exceed the amount you donated to Pillar Arts in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pillar Arts and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Pillar Arts is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
