    Simone Cabral Vilaca

    Simone Cabral Vilaca is the contemporary jewelry artist behind By Soul & Hands. Originally from Brazil and now based in Bloomington, Simone creates sculptural, wearable pieces from overlooked materials. Each piece is carefully hand-cut, folded, and assembled into unique compositions that explore repetition, balance, and transformation. Her work combines environmental awareness with contemporary craft, inviting viewers to see beauty and possibility in materials that might otherwise be overlooked.

    Ann Woods

    Ann Woods has returned to her creative practice as a visual artist, creating colorful bas-relief images from paper and using techniques like tearing, folding, rolling, quilling, and layering to create dimensional works featuring birds, flowers, insects, and abstract forms. Working with a variety of papers, including handmade sheets, papers collected during her travels, and old watercolors, Ann explores color, texture, and form while giving new life to materials that might otherwise be overlooked.
